Coach Elliot has built this beast... The nutrition works! The drills work! Coach Elliot works! He knows what Cade wants and never lets him make excuses. If he wants college sports, give coach a call.
We can't express enough how much this change has put us at ease as his parents. He has come so far and he is learning how to take care of himself far better than before.
He helped me turn that weight into muscle, and he played college football himself, so he kind of helped me reach out to coaches and taught me how to properly communicate with them.
He got to start on defense for varsity's first game last night. He was so happy! Guess this video shows what 25 lbs in a year will do.
His stamina, strength and speed are all increasing. One of his biggest goals was to start varsity at wide receiver, and he made it happen.
He's not only gotten noticeably faster and stronger, but he's also grown in confidence, and that has carried over into every part of his life, not just sports.
He's eating a lot more than he's ever ate before and he's eating different types of food without complaining like he did before. It's a huge win.
He's able to eat the extra calories and not having stomach issues. Standing taller, walking more confident, looking a bit stronger.
He's eating more for sure. And as a bonus, no fast food the entire week. All dinners cooked at home... we all eat together more.

I'm Coach Elliot Allen. I played running back and returned kicks at Minooka High School, then played slot receiver and returned kicks and punts at the University of St. Francis in Illinois.
I trained hard, but I didn't eat to match it. My coaches told me to eat as much as I could, so I did, with no idea how much that actually was. Luckily I was naturally fast. Looking back, if my nutrition had been dialed in, I would have been a lot bigger and stronger.
Years later, the athletes I trained in person started coming to me for help with their eating. That's when I saw the gap. Everyone tells athletes to work hard in the weight room. Almost nobody shows them how to eat for it.
I learned nutrition the hard way, through years of trial and error, a lot of it in the bodybuilding world. I know how to put on muscle, add size and stay lean, and I know the unhealthy ways to gain weight too. Your athlete gets the shortcut I never had.
I'm also a dad of 2 boys. I'm building their appetites now, so when it's their time to put on size, we're not fighting over food at the dinner table.
A meal plan gives your athlete a list. This is coaching. I set nutrition targets built for your athlete's size, sport and schedule, check in every week, and adjust the plan as they grow. When they get stuck, they message me directly instead of guessing.
It's almost never too late. Tre started with me in high school and signed to play college football. The sooner your athlete starts, though, the more time they have to show college coaches a bigger, stronger version of themselves before recruiting decisions are made.
Football is the biggest, but I also work with wrestlers, basketball players, track athletes, softball players and more. If your athlete's sport rewards size, strength and speed, this works for them.
Most families notice more energy and a bigger appetite in the first 2 weeks. Weight gain comes after that, and every athlete moves at their own pace. That's why we track weight and progress photos, so you can see the change instead of guessing.
If your athlete follows the plan, they'll gain weight. Their body can't stay the same when they're eating more than they burn. My job is to make that easy: targets built for their size and sport, meals they'll actually eat, and weekly check-ins where I adjust the plan if the scale stalls. Your athlete's job is to show up and eat. Do that, and the results follow.
Yes. Most of the athletes I work with started out picky. We build meals around foods your athlete already likes and add new ones slowly. Parents tell me all the time their kid is eating more than ever, without the fight at the dinner table.
Yes. In-season is when most athletes lose weight without realizing it. We adjust their fuel around practices and games so they hold onto their size and still have energy late in the season.
Not much. You won't be counting every calorie. Most parents tell me it makes meal planning easier, and the family ends up eating together more.
